On the first day of every year, I usually take out a tarot card.
A number of years ago, the card of the year was the 6 of Swords.
It is a card that symbolizes a journey. It can be a physical journey, an inner journey or both.
But usually it is a journey through darkness (discomfort) and fog (uncertainty).
Swords are cards that mean suffering.
I saw myself and my daughter on this trip and created this piece of art. It's my private.
Denim fabric, bleached with chlorine. The boat and the people are embroidered freehand.
At the end of the year, an adventure had ended. It was a whirlwind trip that I don't want to talk about.
What did I take with me from that trip? It was a clear vision of what friendship is.
I share the conclusion, but everyone must make the journey themselves.
